RIP MR WHITE ON TO A BOGGIE WONDRELAND
I was introduced to the sounds of EWF in the 70’s. My older brother, his friends, my friends, everyone I hung out with, all listen to EWF. In our cars, on cassette, on 8-track, on vinyl, you name it. Back in the day I used to sing a bit and could actually hit some of those notes on Reasons that Phillip Bailey sang. I was , and am still, very proud to be a part of the EWF family. Maurice is so dearly missed but I know his sound and inspiration will live on forever. I just attended the EWF/Chicago live concert this past Friday evening in West Palm Beach, Florida. What a show and what memory I will take with me for the rest of my time here on God’s great earth. I encourage each of you reading this to turn someone who many not know the EWF sound onto them. They will forever be grateful. I can guarantee that. Rest In Peach brother Maurice White. Live on, rock on, jam on Earth, Wind and Fire!!!
Just saw you last night in Columbus Oh, great show as always. Thanks for all the years you all have blessed us with thru your great lyrics and music. A Great Light you are!
Thank you for the Music Maurice…and you will ever be on my mind like your fantastic group.
To honour Maurice and EWA my next German-American Friendship Party here in Flensburg in August has the Theme “Boogie Wonderland”
R.I.P. Maurice!
This group was very instrumental in my life as a young adult. You are missed Maurice and I truly thank the EWF group and family for continuing to carry on the legendary
My favorite band–Earth, Wind and Fire, I love you so much. I look forward to the coming event on june 28th , the live concert in dublin, ireland. I will have a nice trip from Taiwan to dublin. All I wanna to do is have an experience in listening to the music performed by Earth, Wind and Fire in live. Even the distance is so far away, it is not the obstacle between us. And I believe that the spirit of Maurice White always accompany us. I cannot wait to enjoy the show in Dublin, see you then!
My condolences RWG Maurice White Gone But Not Forgotten
